Some general rules
Netball consists of two kinds of players. 8 forward players and 7 backward players. The forward players numbers are 1 to 8 and backward players numbers are 9 to 15.
The replacements can be done of any players up to requirements of seven players. In the game of netball the player can only be replaced once, except if he is a front-rower player.
Another rule is blood bin. In this rule the injured player can show his bleeding cut and can get off the field for ten minutes and later then come and play in the game. The bloodied players place can be substituted with another player. But if the bloodied player returns within ten minutes on the field then it is not regarded as a substitution.
The game has a referee and two touch judges. The main work of the touch judges is to look if there is a touch established by the ball carrier, and also looks for if the goal is successful. The touch judges can also help the referee in the judgment of the foul in the game and also can have a say in whether a try has been scored. When the match is telecasted then an official referee is appointed who is well qualified for the job that referee is said to be a television match official (TMO).
